KNUST SRC Releases 2019/2020 KBN Beneficiary List

The Student Representative Council (SRC) of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has released list of beneficiaries of KETEWA Biara Nsua (KBN) welfare scheme for the 2019/2020 academic year.

The Welfare Chairman, Mr. Wahid Fatawu confirmed the release of the list to hypercitigh.com following a communique issued by the Public relations office of the Students Representative Council (SRC) on Friday 13 September, that the list of beneficiaries would be published on Sunday, 15, 2019.

The welfare Scheme is meant to help beneficiaries fund their Academic Facility User Fees and other charges hypercitigh.com understands.

BREAKDOWN
The 2019 / 2020 KBN welfare scheme is said to amount to Ghc 1,009,100.00 with 2,279 beneficiaries. Mr. Wahid Fatawu tells hypercitigh.com that a total of 2,997 students applied for the scheme of which 2,279 were privy to the fund, out of the qualified applicants, 325 students were identified as very needy students and 1,954 as needy.

The Very needy and Needy students as identified through the interview processes are to receive Ghc 700 and Ghc 400 respectively.

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences which is the largest college among the six colleges received the highest number of beneficiaries thus (619) followed by College of Science (460), College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (379), College of Art and Built Environment (353), College of Engineering (264) and College of Health Science (204) respectively.

College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences – 16.6 %, College of Humanities and Social Sciences– 27.1, College of Science – 20.1 %, College of Health Science – 8.9%, College of Engineering– 11.5%, College of Art and Built Environment – 15.8%.

SRC HOSTEL RESIDENTS; All residents are to come to the SRC hostel, when reporting, with (two) 2 passport pictures and two (2) print outs of their declaration form. Kindly keep notice and comply.

SRC KBN Beneficiary List

The SRC Ketewa Biara Nsua(KBN) list will be out this Sunday, 15th September,2019. Beneficiaries are advised to check from their various college notices, SRC notices and website. Thanks Src:KNUST SRC
